The inaugural\u00a0Radio 1RPH Annual Appeal<\/em>\u00a0has now wound up after a busy week \u2013 and what a result!<\/p>\n

The station\u2019s board, staff and volunteers have been overwhelmed by the support shown by our listeners and the greater community.<\/p>\n

The appeal exceeded all expectations, and has raised over $32,000 towards keeping our service right where it belongs \u2013 on the Canberra, Wagga Wagga and Junee airwaves and bringing a world of information to those less able to access it in a visual way.<\/p>\n

But its more than that for us.\u00a0The support and encouragement shown by our community has been uplifting for all of us who help bring this service to life \u2013 but often wonder how it is being received\u2026 (pardon the pun)!<\/p>\n

Now we know, and we couldn\u2019t be more thrilled.\u00a0 Thank you everyone.<\/p>\n
